How do I open the door in Red Scar Cavern? ›

In the northwest corner of the mine is a locked door that leads to the Mythic Dawn Temple. This locked can be bypassed by using the Mythic Dawn Chamber Key pickpocketed or looted from the last guard before the door.

Red Scar Cavern is a cave located east of Shor's Stone, occupied by the Mythic Dawn cult. The entrance is southeast of Ruunvald Excavation and northwest of Champion's Rest ^CC. Vonos, the leader of the Mythic Dawn, can be encountered within.

Quests. "Pieces of the Past" is a quest that can be started at the newly made Mythic Dawn museum in Dawnstar, after the Dragonborn receives an invitation from a courier. The courier is triggered once the Dragonborn reaches level 20.

It is located east of Snowpoint Beacon and southeast of Driftshade Refuge in The Pale hold.

Welcoming Scar to Dreamlight Valley

In order to even access the area to Scar's home, players must first unlock the Sunlit Plateau. Unlocking the Sunlit Plateau will cost the player 7,000 Dreamlight. Once this area is unlocked, Scar's home can be found before the entrance to the Forbidden Lands.

The only way to do so is to attain the Polar Star from the Hermit Gunsmith, found at the end of the lower passageway, through the cat's mouth. The Door must then take 6 HP worth of damage before it disappears, leaving two experience points in its place.

At any point after becoming a vampire, speak to any bartender in Skyrim and hear a rumor that Falion in Morthal has been doing experiments with the all sorts of undead, Draugr, vampires, and the like, beginning the quest Rising at Dawn.

This quest is started in one of two ways: When approaching the Statue to Meridia at her shrine at Mount Kilkreath west of Solitude, Meridia will speak of a profane darkness that has defiled her temple. She will set a quest marker for the Beacon of Meridia, which the Dragonborn must find and bring back to the shrine.

The end of the dungeon will lead to a staircase that reveals the entrance to Dead Rock Crane. Enter the tower and climb to the top. Exiting the tower will reveal a sacrificial shrine in use by a Hagraven named Drascua. Her corpse will have the pommel for Mehrunes' Razor.

Considering scaling, however, the Skuldafn dungeon is arguably the toughest encounter in all of Skyrim. This is due to Skuldafn being the only dungeon in Skyrim that replaces all draugr with a level-scaled variant.

All key-locked gates in this location can be unlocked with the Redwater Den Backrooms Key, which can be found on the dealer, the attendant, and some of the vampires and thralls within. An additional copy can be found on a table next to the prisoner cell in the first cave-like chamber.

Take the first right into the long hallway and continue along the path. There should eventually be a drop-off point with a long ladder leading into a new open room. Here, gamers can find the switch to open the Leyndell Catacomb doors on the right-hand side.

Passing Through the Bloodskal Door

From the top of the stairs, with the reticle aimed at the glowing red fissures found at the left and right sides of the door, a horizontal power attack will unlock a horizontal red fissure. When a vertical fissure appears, a vertical power attack will unlock it.
